Trivia LA Year in Review

Trivia LA Year in Review

In October 2018, Chris and Lynn launched their very own trivia company. This fall, we ran seven private events ranging from company team-building to holiday parties to charity galas. We completed a program with a DTLA start-up accelerator, and we signed a public venue. Check out all that transpired below!

Company launch with Grid 110

Grid 110, a startup accelerator based out of DTLA, accepted us into their fall 2018 cohort. Over the course of 8 weeks, we received free, weekly business classes and learned valuable lessons about starting our own business. We became serious about starting our trivia company in July of this year. Thanks to Grid 110, we were able to whip a fast turnaround and get our company off the ground in the space of two months!

Holiday Parties and Team Building Events

Whether it was the City of LA Watershed Protection Program's annual holiday party or an Orange County civil engineering firm's team-building event, we were, according to some spectators, "the best entertainment we've had in years." We can't wait to continue our slate of private events in the year to come!

Trivia for non-profit organizations

We had the immense pleasure of putting together the trivia game for the Asian American Journalist Association's annual trivia bowl, a charity gala with 350 attendees. We also hosted the holiday party for Tiyya, a non-profit that helps refugee youth and their families transition to life in the States. We're incredibly proud to have worked with such amazing organizations!

Upcoming Events

Beginning January 7th, Trivia LA opens its games to the public. Join us every Monday at 7 p.m. at Baldoria in Little Tokyo. Check out the link here to find details on parking and team sizes. It's been a great 2018. Thank you everyone for making it so!
